At the beginning of each week, I share a Tarot card on social media. The card offers questions and thoughts for self-reflection. I believe in self-reflection and the Tarot is an excellent tool that can be used to support that. Spirit nudged me to start sharing how I use them as a spiritual practice.
The intention of these weekly posts is to inspire self-reflection on a global level.
This week if you are feeling argumentative, that's ok. It's a signal that part of you is wanting to play. Do something that will help you to regain your energy, creativity, and sense of wonder.
This message is a timely reminder and right on point. I have been feeling cranky and argumentative lately. In fact Saturday I took the day and stayed in, watched Netflix, and ordered food from Whole Foods to be delivered. It felt "too peopley" outside. (I'll be writing more about that in my next blog.)
The thing that has been missing for me lately has been fun. I have been focused more on getting things done rather than on having fun while doing those things. As I was thinking about this post, I stopped and sat with my dog for a moment. Kissing him and petting him reconnects me with my inner child. As I go through my day today and through this week, my desire is to awaken that sense of wonder within. Feeling as though I'm seeing something for the first time, even if I've seen it a gazillion times is my goal. I'm grateful for this reminder to bring the fun back! My energy is already starting to shift.
Here's to all of us experiencing that this week! If you found these thoughts helpful, leave a comment below. I would love to hear what this card brought up for you.
