The 6 Blocks to Intuition

Have you ever asked for guidance from Spirit and came up empty? It can be frustrating when we believe that we are willing to receive Divine guidance and think that nothing is coming through. Today, let's shine some light on something all of us encounter: the blocks to intuition.

Picture this: you're ready to tap into your inner guidance, to connect with the Universe and receive some insight. But nothings coming through. Frustrating, isn't it? The intention of this blog is to guide you through breaking down those barriers and reclaiming your intuitive power.

Stop trying to find the answer or figure things out. When you do that you are squashing that intuitive voice. It's never about finding the answer or figuring it out, it’s about allowing the answer to flow through.

There are 6 things that block our intuition.

  • Fear

  • Doubt

  • Overthinking

  • Emotional distress

  • External Searching

  • Past Trauma

The first culprit that can block our intuition is fear. Fear is a sneaky little trickster that loves to sabotage our spiritual growth. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of what others might think – these fears can cast a shadow over our intuition, clouding our judgment and blocking our connection to the Divine. But remember, sweetheart, fear is just an illusion. It's a product of the ego, designed to keep us small and stagnant. When we acknowledge our fears, embrace them with love and compassion, and then let them go, our intuition begins to soar.

The next block to our intuition is self-doubt. How often have you dismissed a gut feeling or that inner whisper nudging you in the right direction, all because you doubted yourself? We've all been there,. Questioning our intuition and second-guessing our instincts happens. But here's the truth: you are more intuitive than you realize. When you practice trusting in your inner wisdom it strengthens that muscle. The more you do it, the more that fog of doubt dissipates.

Then of course, there’s overthinking, emotions that derail us, looking for approval or validation outside of ourselves, and past trauma. They all work together to create a huge wall that separates us from our intuition and the Divine. Our ego, that cunning little voice in our heads, loves to through all these curve balls our way. It thrives on separation and division, convincing us that we are separate from the Universe and from each other.

But here's the truth: we are all interconnected, all part of the same Divine tapestry. When we quiet the ego's incessant chatter, we open ourselves up to the wisdom of the Universe: our intuition. That’s when miracles unfold in our life.

In today's fast-paced world, we're constantly bombarded with distractions – from social media notifications to never-ending to-do lists. But here's the thing: intuition thrives in silence, in stillness. It speaks to us in whispers, in moments of quiet and reflection. So, carve out some space in your day for stillness. Whether it's through meditation, journaling, or simply taking a walk in nature, allow yourself the gift of silence, and listen closely to see what your intuition whispers to you.

You are more intuitive than you realize. Intuition, your connection to the Divine, that still small voice, already resides within you. Trust yourself, release your fears, embrace stillness, and quiet the ego's voice. Intuition is not something to be found outside of you. So, let your intuition be your guide on this beautiful journey called life.

May you always walk in the light of your own inner wisdom.
